In vitro Tissue Culture plants are a great, inexpensive way to add rare plants to your collection on a budget! 

Here's what to do:

Rinse!

This is the most important step! You need to get all of the agar off, or it will rot if there are pieces left. You can use warm water and a soft toothbrush. Be mindful of the roots, but prioritize getting the gel OFF.

Plant!

In a self-watering cup (ideal), with humidity dome / enclosure (essential). Perlite and stratum is great for starts! Place in a well-lit area. Warmth (from the sun) helps. Heat mats will cook these plants. 

Watch!
A little drooping or yellowing is normal while it adjusts. Once you see new growth, you’ll know it’s settling in!

After that, take your time to adjust the humidity down (a week at a time), until the dome is removed completely. Give it a few weeks of ambient humidity, then plant!
